Managing Heat Stress and Electrolyte Support in Summer

Heat stress increases the energy animals spend regulating body temperature, which can lead to appetite loss, water-electrolyte imbalance and a direct drop in performance. The effect becomes more pronounced when combined with high humidity.

Sweating and faster breathing cause rapid loss of electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and chloride. If this loss isn't adequately replaced, animals show lethargy, reduced feed intake and declining milk or growth performance.

Gold Summer Formula is formulated specifically for this need — supporting electrolyte balance and preserving appetite with a cooling mineral profile. Thanks to the free-choice licking system, the animal takes the support it needs according to its own internal balance on hot days.

In terms of placement, keeping the bucket in a shaded, well-ventilated spot near a water source improves consumption consistency through the summer and helps reduce the negative effects of heat stress.
